Substantive Examination Issues in the Ministry of Law’s AHU Online System

Effective as of October 27, 2025, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia has implemented a substantive examination procedure for every notification of company data changes made through the https://ahu.go.id/ portal. This new policy has caused considerable commotion among business actors and, in particular, notaries across Indonesia, as it concerns notifications of changes relating to: the transfer of company shares; the composition of the board of directors and commissioners, and the replacement of shareholder names.
