The Indonesian Government, working alongside its counterparts in Indonesia’s House of Representatives (Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat– “ DPR ”), has issued Law No. 6 of 2026 (“ Law 6/2026 ”) on the Indonesian International Financial Center (Pusat Finansial Internasional Indonesia– “ PFII ”), marking a significant milestone in the Government’s efforts to strengthen Indonesia’s position within the global financial system. [1] Prior to the enactment, the concept of PFII had been introduced through Law No. 4 of 2026 , which amends Law No. 4 of 2023 on the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector. [2]
