2014 Domestic Market Obligations for Coal Producers

As part of the requirements for large coal-mining companies to supply the domestic market to satisfy the domestic demand for coal, the Government adjusts the quota for domestic coal production that must be sold to the domestic market on an annual basis. Recently the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (“ESDMMinister”) issued Decree No. 2901 K/30/MEM/2013 of 2013 , which prescribes the most recent domestic coal supply obligations on  coal-mining companies for 2014 (“Decree”).
