2017 Minimum Wage for the Industrial Sector in Jakarta

The Governor of the Jakarta Special Capital City Region (“Governor”) has finally determined the minimum wage for workers across several industrial sectors through the issuance of Governor’s Regulation No. 20 of 2017 on 2017 Minimum Wages for the Industrial Sector (“Regulation 20/2017”).Prior to the issuance of Regulation 20/2017, these same matters were regulated under Governor’s Regulation No. 8 of 2016 on 2016 Minimum Wages for the Industrial Sectors (“Regulation 8/2016”).
