Guidelines on the Implementation of Article 47 of the Anti-Monopoly Law

In order to provide some clarification as to how the Commission for the Supervision of Business Competition (Komisi Pengawas Persaingan Usaha/ KPPU) is to use the administrative powers granted to it under Article 47 it has decided to issue a set of guidelines for this purpose. The power to issue guidelines can be found under Article 35 of Law No. 5 of 1999 on the Prohibition of Monopolistic Practices and Unfair Business Competition (Anti-Monopoly Law). The guidelines are an attachment to the Head of the KPPU Decision No. 252/KPPU/Kep/VII/2008.
