After a long and tortuous journey through the legislative process and a name change from the Anti-Pornography and Indecency Bill to its current title of the Pornography Bill, it seems that the House of Representatives (DPR) is set to pass the bill by the end of September 2008. The major changes to the bill are that the majority of the indecency provisions have been dropped in favour of focusing almost exclusively on pornography. However, some of the more pertinent indecency provisions have been incorporated into other provisions within the bill.
