The government has just issued Regulation No. 108 of 2015 (“Amendment”), which amends Government Regulation No. 28 of 2011 on the Management of Nature Reserves and Natural Conservation Areas (“Regulation”).The Amendment is primarily aiming to accommodate geothermal-energy business activity within the country’s forestry conservation areas, as regulated under Law No. 21 of 2014 on Geothermal Resources.
