Through the issuance of Regulation of the Government No. 21 of 2020 (“ Regulation 21/2020 ”), [1] the government has introduced large-scale social restrictions (pembatasan sosial berskala besar– “ PSBB ”) as one countermeasure aimed at mitigating the ongoing public health emergency that has resulted from the corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic within Indonesia. [2] As elaborated upon through the issuance of Regulation of the Minister of Health No. 9 of 2020 on Guidelines on Large-Scale Social Restriction for the Acceleration of Mitigation of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) (“ Regulation 9/2020 ”), [3] PSBB involve various restrictions being introduced, including restrictions in relation to workplace activities.
