Application Submissions for BPHTB Exemptions for First-Time Rights Acquisitions for Certain Landed-Houses to Be Completed Electronically

The Governor of DKI Jakarta (“ Governor ”) has issued Regulation No. 23 of 2023 on the Exemptions to the Land and Building Rights Acquisition Fee (Bea Perolehan Hak atas Tanah dan Bangunan– “ BPHTB ”) for First-Time Rights Acquisitions with Tax Object Acquisition Values (Nilai Perolehan Objek Pajak– “ NPOP ”) of up to Certain Values (“ Regulation 23/2023 ”), which has been in force since 28 August 2023 and which simultaneously repeals and replaces Regulation of the Governor No. 126 of 2017 (“ Regulation 126/2017 ”), which addressed similar matters.
