The Capital Market and Financial Institutions Supervisory Agency (“Bapepam-LK”) has issued Decree No. KEP-715/BL/2012 on Investor Protection Fund (“Decree”). The Decree aims to improve the protection for investors as mandated by Article 46 of Law No. 8 of 1995 on Capital Market (“Law”), which states that custodians are obligated to compensate for investors’ losses that result from custodians’ mistakes.
