Bappebti Adjusts Mechanism for Submission of Annual Reports by Various Business Actors Engaging in Futures Trading Activities

In a bid to realize more organized, practical, efficient and effective commodity futures trading activities, all of the relevant parties should be able to rely on legal certainty and adequate protections, particularly if they are clients and/or customers. In order to achieve this objective, the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi– “ Bappebti ”) recently issued Circular No. 53/BAPPEBTI/SE/01/2023 of 2023 (“ Circular 53/2023 ”), which is aiming to improve the effective supervision of certain business actors.
