Bappebti Updates Provisions on Transmission of Customer Orders to Overseas Futures Exchanges

The Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi –“ Bappebti ”) has issued Regulation No. 1 of 2022 on the Organization of Futures Trading for the Transmission of Customer Orders to Overseas Futures Exchanges (“ Regulation 1/2022 ”), which updates the requirements and procedures for the transmission of customer orders to overseas futures exchanges (“ Transmission ”). [1] As an update, Regulation 1/2022 repeals and replaces Regulation of the Head of the Bappebti No. 82/BAPPEBTI/PER/04/2010 (“ Regulation 82/2010 ”), which addressed similar matters. [2]
