Bank Indonesia (“ BI ”) has identified the need to boost management effectiveness in relation to checking account services and is also aiming to provide centralized and integrated services through its Licensing Front Office with the support of the various electronic services that are available through the BI Service App. In order to accommodate this effort, BI has issued Regulation No. 24/19/PBI/2022 on Checking Accounts at BI (“ Regulation 24/2022 ”).
