In order to fulfill its duty in terms of monetary, macroprudential, as well as payment system and management of Rupiah, Bank Indonesia (“ BI ”) is aiming to provide centralized and integrated central bank services, as well as to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of said services and strengthen the relevant infrastructure through the introduction of the BI Service App. With these goals in mind, BI recently introduced Regulation No. 23/15/PBI/2021 on Central Bank Services (“ Regulation 15/2021 ”).
