BI Revises Macroprudential Policy: Third Parties Caught in Violation Now Subject to Administrative Sanctions

In 2014, Bank Indonesia (“ BI ”) issued Regulation No. 16/11/PBI/2014 on Macroprudential Regulation and Supervision (“ Regulation 16/2014 ”), which outlined various aspects of macroprudential policy, including financial system stability, risk management and supervisory mechanisms.
