BKPM Preparing Draft Regulation on Guidelines and Procedures for Risk-Based Business Licensing Services and Investment Facilities

In light of the implementation of risk-based business licensing, as stipulated under Regulation of the Government No. 5 of 2021 on the Organization of Risk-Based Business Licensing (“ Regulation 5/2021 ”), [1] the Investment Coordinating Board (Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal– “ BKPM ”) is currently preparing the Draft Regulation on Guidelines and Procedures for Risk-Based Business Licensing Services and Investment Facilities (“ Draft Regulation ”). This regulation will replace the current framework Regulation of BKPM No. 6 of 2018 on Guidelines and Procedures for Business Licensing Services and Investment Facilities (“ Regulation 6/2018 ”) [2] and will become the new set of guidelines that will be used during the implementation of business licensing and the granting of investment facilities.
