Recently, in an effort to protect the public from health supplements that do not meet basic quality criteria, the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan– “ BPOM ”) issued Regulation No. 6 of 2025 on Guidelines for the Stability Testing of Health Supplements (“ Guidelines ”) (“ Regulation 6/2025 ”), which has been in force since 20 March 2025.
