In order to protect members of the general public from illegally produced cosmetics products that do not comply with various requirements relating to security, beneficial effects and quality, as well as to provide a set of guidelines that address the Certification of Good Cosmetics Manufacturing Practices (Cara Pembuatan Kosmetika yang Baik– “ CPKB ”), [1] the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan– “ BPOM ”) has issued Regulation No. 33 of 2021 (“ Regulation 33/2021 ”).
