BPOM Issues New Provisions on the Reporting of Pharmaceutical Industry and Pharmaceutical Wholesaler Activities

In an attempt to provide a set of updated provisions that address mandatory reporting by pharmaceutical industries and pharmaceutical wholesalers (Pedagang Besar Farmasi– “ PBF ”) to the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan– “ BPOM ”), the BPOM has issued Regulation No. 2 of 2022 on the Reporting of Pharmaceutical Industry and Pharmaceutical Wholesaler Activities (“ Regulation 2/2022 ”). [1] Previously, similar matters were addressed under the now-repealed Regulation of the BPOM No. 35 of 2019 on the Reporting of Pharmaceutical Industry Activities  (“ Regulation 35/2019 ”). [2]
