The Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan– “ BPOM ”) is currently completing work on a new Draft Regulation (“ Draft Regulation ”) on the Second Amendment to Regulation of BPOM No. 27 of 2022 on the Supervision of the Imports of Food and Drugs into Indonesian Territory, as amended by Regulation of BPOM No. 28 of 2023 (collectively referred to as “ Regulation 27/2022 ”). [1] The Draft Regulation is currently being deliberated and may thus be subject to further changes. [2]
