BPOM Updates Procedure for the Affixation of ING to Processed Food Labeling

In order to keep up with recent technological developments regarding the affixation of Nutritional Value Information (Informasi Nilai Gizi– “ ING ”) to processed food labeling, the head of the National Agency of Food and Drug Control (Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan– “ BPOM ”) recently issued Regulation No. 26 of 2021 on Nutritional Value Information on Processed Food Labeling (“ Regulation 26/2021 ”), which repeals and replaces the previous framework of Regulation of the Head of BPOM No. 22 of 2019 on Nutritional Value Information on Processed Food Labeling (“ Regulation 22/2019 ”).
