Following the enforcement of Regulation of the Minister of Finance No. 113 of 2024 on Customs Notifications for Entries and Releases of Goods to and from Zones Determined as Free-Trade Zones and Free Ports (“ Regulation 113/2024 ”), which stipulates that the Director-General of Customs and Excise (“ Director General ”) is authorized to establish implementing guidelines detailing required data elements and procedures for the completion of customs notifications that are utilized for entries and releases of goods to and from free-trade zones (Pemberitahuan Pabean Free-Trade Zone– “ PPFTZ ”), [1] the Director-General has now decided to issue Regulation No. PER-4/BC/2025 on PPFTZ (“ Regulation 4/2025 ”), which will officially come into force on 31 March 2025.
