Public, private, community, and subscription broadcasters are required to report their existence to the Department of Communication and Information and the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) no later than 30 April 2006. This requirement is contained in Minister of Communication and Information Circular No. 02/SE/M.KOMINFO/3/2006 issued on 6 March 2006.
