Broadcasting without Permit Prohibited

Minister of Communications and Information Technology (“Minister”) has issued Circular Letter No. 4 of 2013 on Law Enforcement for Illegal Broadcasting and Use of Radio Frequency Spectrum (“2013Circular”). The 2013 Circular aims to ensure a well-organized use of radio frequencies and to protect persons or entities that have secured a Radio Station License (Izin Stasiun Radio – “ISR”) [1] or Broadcasting License (Izin Penyelenggaraan Penyiaran – “IPP”).
