In June 2025, the Minister of Trade (“ Minister ”) officially introduced Regulation No. 18 of 2025 on Import Policy and Provisions for Agricultural and Livestock Products (“ Regulation 18/2025 ”), which ultimately came into force on 30 August 2025. Issued simultaneously alongside eight other regulatory frameworks of the Minister, including Regulation of the Minister No. 16 of 2025 (“ Regulation 16/2025 ”), [1] Regulation 18/2025 will now serve as the most recent framework to address applicable import policy and provisions for agricultural and livestock products.
