Certain Stock Exchange Members Required to Fulfill Certain Requirements by 15 June 2023

Amidst new technological developments and ever-changing regulatory dynamics within the capital-market sector, there has been a notable shift in terminology from futures contracts and options to securities derivatives contracts. In response to this shift, the Director of PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (“ PT BEI ”) has issued Decree No. 00040/BEI/03/2023 (“ Decree 40/2023 ”) which contains an amendment (“ Amendment ”) to Regulation No. III-B on Members of the Stock Exchange (“ Members ”) Eligible to Engage in the Trading of Securities Derivatives Contracts (“ Trading ”). [1] Decree 40/2023 and the Amendment have been in force since 15 March 2023.
