However, to ensure that customers are afforded better protections, care, and more secure options Bank Indonesia (BI) has amended CircularNo. 7/60/DASPof 30 December 2005 with CircularNo. 8/18/DASPof 23 August 2006. These Circulars address the changeover from traditional card technologies to the currently available chip technologies.
