Civil Administration - Registering and Tracking an Expanding Population

The Government has issued Government RegulationNo. 37 of 2007to facilitate the implementation of Articles 8(5), 10, 13(4), 24(3), 76, 79(3), 82(3), 84(2), 85(2), 86(2), 87(2), and 105 ofLaw No. 23 of 2006on Civil Administration. The overall objective of the Regulation is to put into place the procedures and mechanisms for registering and maintaining individual data of residents in Indonesia.
