Clearance Now Required for Procurement of Certain Information and Telecommunications Technologies by Ministries/Government Agencies

In an effort to synchronize national development budgeting for the 2021 fiscal year in relation to the procurement of information and telecommunication technologies (Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi– “ TIK ”) by Ministries/Government Agencies (Kementerian/Lembaga– “ K/L ”), [1] the Minister of Communication and Information Technology (“ Minister ”) recently issued Circular No. 5 of 2020 on Guidelines for the Implementation of Clearance Requests from Ministries/Agencies for the Government Procurement of Information and Communications Technologies (“ Circular 5/2020 ”), which is addressed to all K/L heads.
