Clearing Members Face New Settlement Account Obligation: KSEI Introduces 084 Accounts in Effort to Streamline Exchange Transactions

PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (“ KSEI ”) has issued Rule No. I-B (“ Current Rule I-B ”) on Main Securities Accounts, as the Appendix to the Decree of the Board of Directors of KSEI No. KEP-0030/DIR/KSEI/0526 (“ Decree 30/2026 ”). The enforcement of Current Rule I-B and Decree 30/2026 has now resulted in the simultaneous repeal and replacement of the previous iteration of No. I-B (“ Previous Rule I-B ”), as originally featured under the Appendix to Decree of the Board of Directors of KSEI No. KEP-0014/DIR/KSEI/0224 (“ Decree 14/2024 ”).
