In 2024, the government issued Regulation of the President No. 61 of 2024 on the Commodity Balance (“ Regulation 61/2024 ”) which, as its title suggests, addressed various aspects relating to the preparation and determination of the commodity balance. However, in order to accommodate various changes that have been introduced to the relevant structure of duties, functions, organizations and ministerial nomenclature, as well as to enhance the government’s overall commodity balance policy, Regulation 61/2024 has now been revised through the issuance of Regulation No. 7 of 2025 (“ Amendment ”), which came into effect on 3 February 2025.
