Compensation Exemptions of up to 10 Years Available for TKA Employment in IKN Area

In 2023, the Indonesian Government introduced Regulation No. 27 of 2023 (“ Regulation 27/2023 ”) on the Special Authority of the Capital City of Nusantara (Ibu Kota Nusantara– “ IKN ”), which stated that the IKN Authority (“ Authority ”) is authorized to administer business and non-business licenses within the IKN area. [1] In order to implement this mandate, the Head of the Authority has now issued Regulation No. 2 of 2024 on the Implementation of Licensing Services Within IKN Nusantara (“ Regulation 2/2024 ”), which has been in force since 26 March 2024.
