Following the enforcement of Law No. 4 of 2023 on the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector (“ Law 4/2023 ”), the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan– “ OJK ”) has introduced Regulation No. 5 of 2025 (“ Regulation 5/2025 ”) on Supporting Professions Within the Financial Services Sector (“ Supporting Professionals ”), which is set to officially come into force on 3 March 2026. [1] Upon entering into force, Regulation 5/2025 will repeal and replace the following existing OJK frameworks (collectively referred to as “ Previous Frameworks ”):
