Cosmetics Manufacturers, Take Note: CPKB Certification Now Integrated into the OSS, Aspect Fulfillment Certificates Face More Restrictions

The National Agency of Drug and Food Control (Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan– “ BPOM ”) has issued Regulation No. 8 of 2026 (“ Regulation 8/2026 ”) on the Certification of Good Cosmetics Manufacturing Practices (Cara Pembuatan Kosmetika yang Baik– “ CPKB ”). Regulation 8/2026 has now repealed and replaced Regulation of the BPOM No. 33 of 2021 (“ Regulation 33/2021 ”), which bore the same title as Regulation 8/2026 [1] , as Indonesia’s framework that governs CPKB implementation for cosmetic manufacturers.
