Customs Revenue Management Updated: Mid-Year Trajectory Adjustments Now Permitted to Reflect Shifting Economic Realities

The Director-General of Customs and Excise (“ Director-General ”) has issued Regulation No. PER-6/BC/2026 on the Amendment to Regulation of the Director-General No. PER-15/BC/2023 (“ Regulation 15/2023 ”) on Guidelines for the Implementation of Customs-and-Excise Revenue Target Distribution (“ Amendment ”). The Amendment introduces a number of critical operational flexibilities that specifically relate to internal mapping, adjustments and the distribution of national customs-and-excise revenue targets.
