Article 29(2) ofLaw No. 10 of 1995as amended byLaw No. 17 of 2006(Customs Law) requires that importers and exporters use a Customs Services Management Company (CSMC) to mange all of their customs notifications. However, importers and exporters can provide the power of attorney to act on their behalf to handle this part of their customs obligations. This Regulation,No. 65/PMK.04/2007, has been confirmed to ensure that there are greater levels of compliance and legal certainty within the regulatory framework.
