The Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (“ Minister ”) is currently completing work on a new Draft Regulation (“ Draft Regulation ”) on the Protection and Enhanced Competitiveness of Micro- and Small-Scale Enterprises (Usaha Mikro dan Kecil– “ UMK ”) Engaged in E-Commerce Through Electronic Systems. This Draft Regulation is set to introduce a new obligation that will apply to Organizers of Trading Through Electronic Systems (Penyelenggara Perdagangan Melalui Sistem Elektronik– “ PPMSE ”), i.e. the requirement to establish Digital-Based Partnerships (Kemitraan Berbasis Digital– “ KBD ”) with UMK through written agreements.
