Distribution and Supervision of Dangerous Substances

This Regulation was issued by the Minister of Trade this Regulation and although its title is generic to dangerous substances, the actual substances that this Regulation covers include formaldehyde and borax among other substances. This Regulation should not be classified as part of the anti-terror law and order package of regulations issued over the last couple of years. The Regulation,No. 04/M-DAG/PER/2/2006, recognizes that there is a need for dangerous substances to be available in the community but that access and availability should and must be strictly regulated to ensure misuse and abuse does not occur.
