The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation (“ Amendment ”), which amends Regulation of the Minister on Procedures for Divestments and Mechanisms for the Determination of Divested Share Prices for Minerals and Coal-Mining Business Activity (“ Regulation 9/2017 ”) [1] which aims to optimize the benefits which are accrued by the state as a result of the implementation of the divestment obligation which has to be met by foreign minerals and coal-mining companies. [2] With this ultimate goal in mind, the Amendment revises a number of provisions relating to the following matters:
