Domestic Manpower Placement Frameworks Officially Consolidated: Placement Agencies Now Required to Employ Intermediary Job Officers

Following the mandatory reporting of job vacancies by employers across the nation that was introduced under Regulation of the President No. 57 of 2023 on the Mandatory Reporting of Job Vacancies (“ Regulation 57/2023 ”), [1] the Minister of Manpower (“ Minister ”) has now introduced a new mechanism for Placements of Domestic Workers (Penempatan Tenaga Kerja Dalam Negeri– “ PTKDN ”) through the issuance of Regulation No. 18 0f 2024 (“ Regulation 18/2024 ”).
