The Indonesian House of Representatives (Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat– “ DPR ”) passed the Bill (“ Bill ”) on the Second Amendment to Law No. 38 of 2004 on Roads (“ Roads Law ”) on 16 December 2021. According to the Deputy Head of Commission V at the DPR, Ridwan Bae, the Bill sets out various necessary provisions which had not been accommodated under the previous framework and also addresses various reliable and prime road services.
