In a bid to optimize state income from the non-tax sector, the Ministry of Finance has initiated the Draft Bill on Non-Tax State Revenue (“Draft Bill”), which is to be discussed at the House of Representatives (“House”). In essence, the Draft Bill updates obsolete provisions on non-tax state revenue (penerimaan negara bukan pajak– “PNBP”), which is currently regulated under Law No. 20 of 1997 on PNBP (“1997 Law”).
