The House of Representatives is currently deliberating the Draft Bill on Wiretapping (“ Draft Bill ”). The Draft Bill is expected to set out a primary set of guidelines which are to be implemented by law enforcers during the undertaking of any lawful interceptions (wiretapping) for the purposes of law enforcement, as well as to ensure national security.
