Indonesia’s House of Representatives (Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat/DPR) recently passed the Draft Bill on the Protection of Witnesses and Victims (“ Draft Bill ”), which is expected to usher in a more comprehensive and restorative justice-based framework by expanding the scope of protected individuals to include both informants and experts.
