Indonesia’s House of Representatives (Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat– “ DPR ”), in conjunction with its government counterparts, is currently completing work on a new Draft Bill (“ Draft Bill ”) on the Fourth Amendment to Law No. 41 of 1999 on Forestry, which was most recently amended by Regulation of the Government in Lieu of Law No. 2 of 2022 (collectively referred to as “ Law 41/1999 ”).
