Draft Implementing Regulation on the Job Creation Law: Environmental Protection and Management

The government is currently in the process of preparing 29 Draft Regulations of the Government (Rancangan Peraturan Pemerintah– “ RPP ”) which will act as implementing regulations to Law No. 11 of 2020 on Job Creation (“ Job Creation Law ”). This preparation process involves input from the general public. [1] One of the RPP which is now deemed complete (rampung) is the RPP to the Job Creation Law on the Environmental Protection and Management Sector , which represents an implementation of various new provisions set under the Job Creation Law (“ RPP on Environmental Protection ”) and which revises Law No. 32 of 2009 on Environmental Protection and Management.
