Draft Implementing Regulation to the Job Creation Law: Wages

In line with the mandate set out under Law No. 11 of 202o on Job Creation [1] (“ Job Creation Law ”), the Indonesian Government is currently in the process of drawing up a Regulation of the Government (Rancangan Peraturan Pemerintah – “ RPP ”) on wages. When promulgated, the new RPP will introduce an updated regulatory framework for the determination of wages for workers in Indonesia and will repeal and replace the current framework of Regulation of the Government No. 78 of 2015 on Wages [2] (“ Regulation78/2015 ”).
