The much awaited new Negative Investment List is closer to becoming a reality with the issue of a Draft Negative Investment List (Daftar Negatif Investasi / DNI). The current DNI is contained in Presidential DecreeNo. 118 of 2000which amended the earlier Presidential DecreeNo. 96 of 2000. The other relevant DNI regulation is Presidential DecreeNo. 127 of 2001on the types of industry sectors reserved for small and medium scale partnership enterprises. The new DNI would repeal all of this legislation.
