Draft Regulation of the BPOM on the Application of the Food-Safety Risk-Management Program: Producers Required to Secure Permits

The National Agency of Drug and Food Control (Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan– “ BPOM ”) is currently working on a Draft Regulation on the Application of the Food-Safety Risk-Management Program (Program Manajemen Resiko– “ PMR ”) at Processed Food Production Facilities (“ Draft Regulation ”) in order to update various provisions on the food safety PMR that needed revising due to the urgent need for a comprehensive legal framework and to bring the PMR into line with recent scientific and technological developments.
