The Governor of the Special Region of Jakarta (“Governor”) recently issued Regulation No. 25 of 2017 on Traffic Control Through the Limitation of Motor Vehicles via the Implementation of the Electronic-Road-Pricing System (“Regulation 25/2017”) in a bid to improve efficiency and accountability relating to the implementation of the forthcoming electronic-road-pricing (“ERP”) system. This area was previously regulated under Governor’s Regulation No. 149 of 2016 [1] on Electronic Payments for the Control of Street Traffic (“Regulation 149/2016”).
